leaking something need help
i have a 92 hatch with a ls swap. i went out to my car and noticed there was a leak by the spot underneath it. i looked under the car and i realzed i can see my flywheel. right where the block meets the tranny, is this right?
it looks like new oil, smells different though. the leak is more towards the passenger side i think it might be from the tranny. what does manual tranny fluid look like and smell like.
smells somewhat like coffee mixed with ***... looks red well at least the stock honda stuff does. and if you see your flywheel that means that your tranny isnt bolted up all the way or what?
i took some pics
here is where i was talkin about seeing the flywheel...
this is from behind the front passenger side tire...
this is the drain bolt, im pretty sure this was were it was leaking from cause when i tried to turn it spun freely...
i tightened it as tight as possible by hand... this is another angle of it...

yeah your missinf the dust cover, it keeps stuff from going up in the fylwheel. but it doesnt cause anything to leak. the other pics looks like the drain for your tranny try tighten it up
