Clutchmasters lightened Flywheel
About a year and a half ago I took my car in to get a tranny swap from auto to manny. I was just wondering would you be able to tell just by taking off the flywheel cover if the flywheel is the clutchmasters one ? because I cant compare it to anything since i never had a stick before the swap. And I dont want to drop the tranny just to look.

Re: Clutchmasters lightened Flywheel (purek9hybrid)
if you take off the flywheel cover (little metal plate on the bottom inside of the tranny held on by 4 or 5 bolts) you will see the flywheel. Clutchmaster flywheels are blue and I think some are silver and they will have the Clutchmaster logo and Say http://www.clutchmasters.com on it. I've had two of them so I know what they should look like If it is a dark brown color then it is most likely stock. Unless you paid extra for the flywheel when doing the tranny swap, I highly doubt they gave you anything more than a stock flywheel

YEa I have paid the extra for the flywheel and stage 1 clutch which is about to go now. yea the flywheel is a silver color, (the back of it anyways), I havent really looked for and writing on it since I can only see part of it when looking under the car

Re: Clutchmasters lightened Flywheel (torkcm)
what you can do is take the car out of gear(put it in neutral) and then turn the motor over by turning the bolt that holds the crank pulley on. You can turn it over until you see the writing on the flywheel
