Mine always has a hiss when i open the gas cap.
It's just letting the pressure built up from driving out. That's why on the cap it says to open up slowly.

I don't think people are really reading. Mine does it as well though.
Might want to make sure your gas cap is sealing 100%.
Sometimes mine does it, sometimes it doesnt.

it's just pressure in the gas tank, I have a new gas cap on mine, I left it at a station where it was prepay and there was no signs for that and I was pissed and forgot to put it back on when I went to get my change. Mine does it especially when it's extremely low and more likely to happen when doing a lot of driving. It's normal, also make sure you click it at least 3 times, says right on the cap. I heard you shouldn't let your gas get too low cause it's hard on the fuel pump.
If you guys will notice...
It only does it when your on ''Empty''
I think it has something to do with air and pressure building up in the tank from where your low on gas and when you open the cap...PSSHHH it releases it

its a pressure not a vacuum.
on a side not, a vacuum will never be released, rather it will equalize with the outside atmosphere. Quick physics note for ya

At least 3 clicks of the cap when you put it back on.
