were is the water pump on a 4th gen lude??
I believe on H series (and most others) the water pump is located on the timming assembly side of the engine. In other words if you were standing in front of the car it would be on the right hand side. Changing it is easy but requires alot of work. Removal of the valve cover, PS Belt, Alternator belt, valve cover, crankpully, timming covers, camgears, and many other things. Since you will be messing around with the timming components, if you dont have any mechanical knowledge or experience with the timming, i wouldnt do it.

agreed, the cam gears definitely stay on during a timing belt change.
it's a pain no doubt, but quite do-able without dropping the engine out - by removing the side engine mount and the crossbeam bolts, the engine will drop far enought to access the lower T-belt cover and the water pump.
