i changed my oil the other day and the oil smelled like gas, somebody told i was running was to rich, what would cause this, a bas sensor or somethuing needs adjusted or what????help
could a clogged cat converter cause this??

what motor what ecu, does it smell like gas is coming out of the exhaust, it does sound like you're running rich if theres gas in your oil....

 

a clogged cat has nothing to do with running rich.

 

hey, its a d15b2 im not sure what ecu. why are some possibilities why i would be running so rich, yes i can smell gas out the exhaust

 

Oil smells like gas?

have you done a compression test?

sounds like lots of blowby .. i.e. ring sealing problems

 

do a compression test, and then check your o2 sensor, then the fuel pressure.
