help!!!!teg wont start
hey how you doing im doing this for my firends 1992 integra 5speed the fuel pump has no power. i connected direct and started pumping.has no spark when i cheked the wires it blowes ecu fuse in the fuse block in engine bay the yellow and white wire soposed to be a power is having ground elect im figurin that y it blowes but why we are lost right now weve put 2 dis. and change the brown like boxes.need help asap!!! thank you!!
SAME PROBLEM. With the b18c i put into my Del Sol.
No spark, no fuel pump power (wont turn on when you click the key over)
Checked all grounds, harness, relays, EVERYTHING. still nothing.
BUMP!!!!! to get this question answered. HELP US OUT GUYS!

for blazin...
I'm having trouble understanding most of your post. You keep blowing fuses, so there's a short somewhere. I don't have a '92 so I can't help much. Is it shorting in the fuel pump circuit or elsewhere? What's with the distributors? Why did you change them?
REWURKD...
How did you check all the harnesses? Do you get power back at the fuel pump? Do you get power at the ECU (A25 & B1)?

it blowes the ecu fuse only wen i connect the yellow and white wire that comes out of the fuse block in the engine bay. it goes to the brown realy under the das on the driverside. i tested to see the type of energy going threw from the fuse black it is sending positing but when i connect the relay it sends out negitive i have swtiched with 3differnt lil brown boxes
the fuel pump hase no power going in to it that is why it dosnt turn on i dont kno why.
i have no spark that why i have switched the dis.
thanks bro please help.!!!!!!

no spark = ignitor or coil (unless you changed these with a new distributor)
if you put the key in the 2nd position, do you hear the fuel pump prime? (itll sound like "eeeeeee")

NOT TRYIN TO JACK YOUR POST BLAZE
sorry bro just had a similar problem.
When i say i checked the harness i mean.... I did not have my factory d16 harness so i extended the clips from the right side of the engine (jdm ecu location) to the left side (usdm location) then went wire by wire with factory wiring diagrams (del sol and gsr) making sure the wires matched up. (o2 sensor on del sol side matches o2 sensor on gsr side ect)
I checked the pump relay and it seemed fine, jumped it and it runs. Not really concentrating on the pump because i dont have spark either which makes me think its something bigger altogether (if that makes sense
)
Give me a little more info on checkin power to the ecu. My CEL light stays on so i was guessing that means the ECU is powered (again im assuming here, this is my fist swap). Dont really have any wheels right now so the sooner I get this thing on its feet the better.
Thanks in advance for the help.

no problem reworked.. hope we get our problems solved this is my friends car too. ima old school toyota head....
wel im thinking this problum is burning distributors.. any one has wireing diagrams maby dat could help.

No spark might mean you aren't getting power to the distributor - doesn't HAVE to be a bad distributor. Especially since it's the same with the new distributor(s). First, you're gonna have to find your short circuit, so you can quit blowing fuses. You'll want a circuit diagram & a multi-meter...
rewurked:
You're using the ECU from a GSR to go with your B18C1? I should have asked if it's OBD-1 or OBD-2. The OBD-1 ECU is SUPPOSED to get +12v from the main relay, at both pins A25 & B1. All the pin #s are probably different for OBD-2. If the ECU is getting power, it'll close pin A7 to ground for about 2 seconds, which tells the main relay to run the fuel pump (for 2 seconds). If it gets an ignition signal from the distributor, it'll continue to keep the pump running as long as it sees the ignition signal. That's the kind of stuff you're gonna have to check out with a voltmeter. Maybe the main relay isn't getting power in the first place? Which in turn doesn't give any power to the ECU?? Somewhere you'll find an open circuit that needs to be fixed...
If your fuel pump 'primes' when you first turn the key on, that means your main relay has power, & your ECU has power. Then you can concentrate on the ignition? But like you said, if your ECU isn't getting power, then it's something 'upstream' of all that. Like maybe a bad ignition switch or main relay?

sorry bro just had a similar problem...</TD></TR></TABLE>Actually, it sounds like you 2 have different problems. Blaze is blowing fuses & you're not? He's gotta find his short circuit. You're looking for an open circuit... So I've gotta keep it straight, which one I'm talking about.
Both of you have to start figuring out exactly which circuits are OK & which are not. Details like whether the pump runs for the first 2 seconds, or whether the idiot lights come on for their bulb-check, are important.

Helpin me like crazy Blake thanks man.
Its a OBD1 ecu for the b18c
When I click the key over that pump DOES NOT PRIME. No little wurrrrrrr sound
The main relay your talking about is the one that controls the fuel pump right? The one under the steering wheel kinda near the left diver side kick panel? I did voltmeter that for continuity and it was aight.
I am curious about the ignition switch. I've been workin on this damn thing for like a week on this forum and havnt hear that one yet. If i could pick your brain a bit more about that it would really be great.
Thanks again for all the help.

so i should take the dash off and slice the wires. till i find it u think its the relay cuz its only when i connect this wire i reran that goes in to the brown relay assist.

I'm a little in the dark with your car since I don't own a '92. Since you're blowing fuses, you're looking for somplace where (for example) the insulation is cut or scraped off, & the wire's touching ground. That's pretty vague, but you can check the circuits that feed from the fuse that blows. Look for one that's got continuity to the car chassis.
ReWurkd:
Without my Helm book right in front of me, I'm still kinda vague... Besides, that book is for a '95 Teg, so your swap might have some strange stuff.
The main relay is under the dash over to the left. It actually includes a couple relays inside it's case, one of 'em is the fuel pump relay. When you turn the key 'ON' your ignition switch tells the main relay to give power to the ECU. If the idiot lights come on, then that much is OK so far...
Then the ECU closes it's pin A7 to ground for a second or 2, telling the main relay to run the fuel pump. That's NOT working. Your first job is to figure out why...
Is the ECU pin A7 disconnected? Is the wire broken? Is that one individual relay (inside the 'main relay') broken? Is the wire broken or disconnected somewhere between there & the actual pump??
You guy's are both gonna have fun with your voltmeters...
