too many confusing informants....need help
ive gotten too many mixed replies from other boards on what all i will need for a tranny swap from my 98 HX AT to become an MT
right now in my area there is an EX MT available should i jump on it(500$)
and what all will i need from it?

WAY too much money for a possibly bad tranny.
I sold my old one for 230!
Yes, it is possible to convert the HX to a manual. You will also need a Manual HX ECU.
You will also need a flywheel, clutch and clutch assemble as well as the pedal assembly to do this conversion.

yeah i knew about the ecu but i was wondering baout more of the mechanics than electronics.
this is suposed to be my 1st DIY project(major one anyways)
know anywhere to cop some diagrams?
