Why swap? 100k is nothing just change water pump, timing belt, etc. maybe a tune up. your motor will be as good as new and cheaper than a swap. but if you want to swap let me know and i will buy your motor.

Dont swap man unless your getting a type R power plant.

it comes down to this...
you could just do a water pump, timing belt, spark plug, wires, cap, rotor, oil change, filter, new tranny fluid and filter, brake fluid... just a giant tune up..
that would have your engine runnin real nice then you could do some upgrades to it...
IM ALL IN FAVOR OF THE SWAP THOUGH... it's fun, and it's worth the money if it's your hobby...
if you have a 99SI though, its almost senseless to drop another B-series in there... i'd just get your block work done... piston, rods, sleeves, rod bolts, and turbo the bitch... do some under-drive pulleys too! unorthadox y0!

no filter in a manual tranny dude! and no Si's were autos
i say put in a fresh GSR block and keep your B16 head

so true. i did and i still eventually dropped in a new b18c5 block using the b16 head and mugen headgasket. feels awesome, big difference in torque. should of come like that from the factory.

Then put some big boost on that motor.

not worth swapping unless it's a B18C5 or H22..just do a tune-up...what makes you think you need a new motor at 100k?..dude..it's a Honda

Exactly, 110k it's just getting broken in.

hey guys, my 99 Si engine only has 98,000 miles but ive replaced almost everything for the car except the engine its self and i have problems with my car Every week, I've put almost $5,000 into this car since i bought it 5 months ago with 81,000 miles and every weekend something new goes wrong, idk about that whole "honda's don't break thing"... lol ive replaced everything that u goes told me to pretty much but a few extra's like stage 1 clutch and what not but idk this thing is a black hole!
