changing auto to manual swap need help with parts
I finally decided to get some sense and change my hx auto to a 5 speed. here is the list of stuff that i need so help me if i say stuff that i dont need or forget stuff thanks.
ex tranny
ecu from hx 5 speed
pedals
clutch master cylinder
clutch line and slave cylinder
flywheel
clutch
shift linkage with new spring pin
also what would i do about the mounts
on average how much faster would the times be in a 1/4 from the auto cvt to the manual 5 speed

1.You need the a special mount for the tranny made for the conversion (red mount in pic) jdmshit.com sells them and placeracing sells them as well and theres other brand
2. Manual Starter
3. 5 speed cluster.
4. Rear tranny mount
5. Center consol with boot to reduce loudness
6. sheet of aluminum to partially cover the whole where the shifter will sit (optional)
7. Clutch sensor to keep from starting without clutch(Optional)

is the ecu's are the wires the same as in not having to change the wires just take out the auto one and plug the manual one right in.

you DONT have to have a manual gauge cluster, it will just have the parking light on infinitely. As for everything else you said, good including the stuff mentioned in the first post and your set for the pain in the *** auto-manual swap.

how long did it take when you did the swap.
my dash, carpet, pretty much whole interior is out of my car and ive already took out the auto cvt. So im hoping it wont be that hard.
