Assuming the fan switch is good, I would check you're radiator.
Hmmm trying switching to a dual core radiator. From what I remember, civics that didn't have a vtec engine had single core radiators.

How do you check the fan switch?

Do your fans come on at all? Are your fans good?

run ur car for 10 min or so at 2000 rpm to see if fan comes on or see if ur fan clip is hooked up.. or u can have air pockets in ur system.. to fix that let oprn ur radiator cap and idle of 20 min or so keep filling it up with rad, fluid.. by the way switch to a dual core.. 92-95 auto civic vtec.. call 1800 radiator.. it was the cheapest ive found even with shop discounts. 115 bucks i believe. but if u got a gsr rad. i would have that is depending if u got a/c or not..

Wow...just wow.

Yes, he's right about checking to see if the fans come on. And if your fans come on then you need to bleed the air out of the system. *LET THE CAR COOL BACK DOWN FIRST!!!* and then pull the radiator cap off and let it idle for a while letting it burp all of the air out.

And if you already have the GSR radiator in, leave it. And 115 bucks for that dual core radiator is not all that good at all.
