First, i remember people telling me and reading if you get some so n so alarm and your car gets stolen, they will pay your 5000.00. Well whats a list of all the alarms your can add to your car that pays you if your car gets stolen. (catch my drift, if you put 3 different alarms on your car, and all three pay like 3gs, 5gs, 2gs, thats 10gs for you if your car gets stolen, plus insurance $$)

Second, We need to seriously make a webpage and start a petiton for the government or police to see how hondas are getting stolen left from right. Something like creating stolenhondas.com and have big forums with all stolen hondas, and people arguing for law officals to crackdown on these theft rings. Just last month AOL reported its top 10 stolen vehicles, and funny, integras where not even on that list. I think Accords where like #7, the only honda. Either stolen hondas are gonna keep being ignored by law offcals, or we all take a stand and start a site like this up.

Third, everybody needs to be more aware. Personally, when I go to a mall, i sit in the car for a 1/2 hr with my friends talking, or drinking whatever, staking it out. Also I try to park by where theres parking lot camaras. Don't take your car out to a club at night, and don't drive around a mall blaring your system. My next step is leading me to buy a 89 $1000 accord or civic and drive that around, until that gets stolen. While I keep my teg home, and use it to drive it around the block to show everyone my bling bling for an hour then go back home and lock it up. Cause I feel like I can't enjoy my car anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i only park my car in my driveway. i have 2 other cars i drive around and park places. i also have a gated driveway so there is no way mutherf*ckers are getting my teg

 

The law don't care about us Honda owners, now if we owned a Mustang or Camero we'd have a chance. You know why we have wings? For dog leashes.

 

yea dude theyre not gonna care...thats why insurance on integras are so expensive...especially for those under 25. and keep in mind that its modded integras getting stolen...which the police probably couldnt careless of.

 

I agree we should do something, but they don't really care. The way they see it, car gets stolen, we get money for insurance adn its settled. now if you don't have full covereage ur screwed. But when your car gets stolen, its more then the fact that money was taken from you, its also your pride and your time, and a piece of you that gets stolen, but they dont care about that, you get the insurance money and thats it.

 

i really hates pigs sometimes. they just get so fucken careless.

hate to say it.. but all those ideas aint goin to work. if you are tired of stolen hondas... dont drive one. thats what they will tell you. i drive an integ. it got stolen. i still worry about it getting stolen, but im not going to let that bother me or make me go out of my way. secure your car. if it gets stolen then let insurance take care of it. its really no use to spend more time than you need to on a car that thieves will steal as long as its a wanted item. i know how it feels to have my car stolen and it sucks. the only thing i can do is prevent it from happening again or seriously injuring the damn thieves.

 

you're not the first one to want to do something like this, so welcome to the club although while i haven't had my car stolen i've had a few 48-disc cd cases and a debit card stolen, but cops don't care.. period. If you're seriously worried about it park it in a locked garage with no windows... if you don't have one, get a home building permit and build one off your house or in the back yard with triple locking doors, no opener, a security alarm and no windows on the door. Plus it'll give you a place to work on the car . Other than that the best thing to do is a pager system, lots and lots of kill switches, a few starving big-balled rottweilers and a camera hidden in your rear view that points at the driver.. my .02
