Default What HP level is a Tial 35mm HP good for?

As the topic states. How much hp is a Tial 35mm HP wastegate good for. I know about spring rate and such. Can it handle 400hp?

it more or less depends on how much boost you need to "bleed off"...

if you have a diesel semi-sized turbo, and ur running 5psi..ur gunna need a bigass wastegate..

however, if you were running that same turbo at say, 30-40psi...a smaller wastegate would suffice as their is less boost to bleed off..

hope that analogy helps you

Impossible to say for your build. It would be possible to make 1000hp with a 15mm WG. It would also be possible to need a 50mm WG when making 200hp. Some of the biggest power cars dont even have WGs.

Things you would need to know are, air flowing in, resistance to exasut flow, placement of WG, other aspects of manifold design, porting, cams, all that jazz.

But if you want the cheezy quicky answer, if you manifold is properly designed, and your turbo is resonable, you will be fine.
