It depends on the spring that's in it...I think .45BAR is standard...also depends on your set up as well...engine, turbine, etc...but if its JUST the 35mm withthe .45 BAR spring, then 400WHP on any Honda engine is highly unlikely

Could someone explain how a 35mm TiAL wastgate would be a limiting factor for HorsePower?

You should consider consulting new friends for technical information...
When you are running lots of boost you don’t need to bypass as much exhaust gas, which in turn doesn’t require a large wastegate opening. If you are running little boost you need to run a larger wastegate to bypass more exhaust gas. Pretty simple to surmise when you actually devote some critical thinking skills.

if you havn't purchased the 35mm i would consider atleast a 40mm. i know on my pos deltagate, anything over 1 bar it will creep and won't stop. i'm now looking for an upgraded wastegate. to answer your question, can you make 400whp on the 35mm tial......... yes. is there a chance it will creep....yes. i should have gotten a better wastegate and i am regreting it now, do it right the first time so you don't have to replace a part and spend even more money. go for the 40mm or 45mm tial.

This is exactly why I went with a 40mm tial right away. I am pretty sure that the 35mm would be sufficent for my eventual goals, but rather take a chance that it ends up creeping, I went with the 40mm HP.
And I got a hell of a deal on it... 310 shipped.
OH BTW, the 40mm and 35mm are discontinued.
Tial now has 38mm and 44mm wastegates.
I would go for the 38mm HP...
