Which timing belt to use for this setup?
The B16 timing belt won't work on the B18 blocks, reguardless of of the head. The deck height is shorter on the B16 block. The B16 and GSR water pumps are the same. They both have 22 teeth that the belt rides on. Use the Gsr timing belt and water pump.
ok..so i can use the B16 water pump and a GS-R timing belt? darn...i had bought a B16 timing belt, but never used it..guess i'll have to sell it now..
what's the advantage of the GS-R pump vs. the b16?if any..
