I have a JDM b18c gsr and I wanted to know what kind of turbo kits people are using and what kind of unumbers they are getting on stock internals. I was looking at getting a stage 1 kit (450hp) from fullrace.com.

I dont like running stock internals. Hondas pistons are made from cast and dont deal well with detonation.. The pistons will shatter unlike forged pistons which would only bend a minute bit.

That just me.... for boost do it once do it right and us some freakin forged internals.

I'd have to agree, if your power goals are 300+whp I would at least throw in some rods and pistons, or your motor probably won't hold up very long. Don't get me wrong, there are people who have had some success with stock internals at 300+whp, but I wouldn't push it like that if I was you.

300whp no problem on stock internals. Just make sure it's well tuned, and has engine managment.

Hondata/AEM or some other form of standalone. A lot of people like uberdate on here also, it seems to be on the rise.

Piece a kit together instead of buying a full-race kit, and build your motor with the left over cash.
