Default boring out a 1.6L DOHC???

anyone ever heard of boring out a 1.6 to like 1.8 or 1.9???(DOHC BTW)

it is for a full drag all motor car BTW

I really don't wanna mess up the nice rod-stroke ratio, but I need more torque!

boring the 1.6 out will make it rev fast and still have good rod stroke ratio and it will make it a big 1.7 to 1.8

A stock block shouldn't be bored any more than .5mm for FI and 1mm for n/a. If you want more than that, you need to have the block sleeved by golden eagle.
