Default Act Pilot bearing doesnt fit.

I got the ACT HDSS kit with a prolite flywheel and the bearing doesnt fit the flywheel or on the spine on the tranny. whats the deal? I had to use the OEM pilot bearing and it only went in 3/4 in and wont go anymore and wondering if thats legit?

I checked ACT's website and its listed the right pilot bearing number to so I dunno.

I had the same exact problem when I got a clutch kit from them. I used a OEM bearing and it worked just fine

No, they do not fit flush, they are supposed to stick out slightly. It should fit on the end of the input shaft though.

Awesome thanks. Thats what I was hoping to hear.

The ACT pilot bearing didnt fit the flywheel or the shaft and it was the right part number. I called ACT up and they said it shoud've of fit. Thats the only negative thing about ACT is the pilot bearing not fitting.

Mine fit too. I have an ACT HDSS clutch with Fidanza 7.5lb flywheel. It went on my B18A tranny..
