I did a GReddy turbo on my GSR, with all stock internals, and running low 13's.

you can run with stock internals, but you might want to lower the compression a bit. I know my limits with my RS, but you might want to search a bit and figure out what needs to be done with the GSR. the search button is your friend

Hmmm, good question!

Is this the first time this topic has been covered?!

I wouldn't know, I don't use the search function either.

there is always someone that a dick this time its integra707 but thats besides the point i searched i found out a lot but i wanted to get people input that already have it done to see what they recomend and what they think about it,ive been doing a lot of searches mostly what i have learned from that is make sure my compression isnt too high and to make it lower on a gsr,ive had friends tell me not to use itr internals if im gonna go turbo and not to over boost but other than not i dont know that much more about it
so im asking people that have turboed there gsr's to help me find out a good set up that would cost too much i can afford the turbo but i dont know about internals and stuff right now it would have to be one or the other

You absolutely can run on stock internals. Stock compression, stock internals, stock everything for sure.

What makes you think otherwise? I would run a search, see what people have done in the FI forum, and then post some more specific questions. What are your goals? What do you want to do with the car?

yeah stock internals are fine, maby if you want a new head gasket that will lower it, i would put the money to a good egt and make sure you know how to tune or let someone else tune for you, thats all you need is good tunning

Alright. Maybe im just reading this to well BUT.......

Does your sig say "want Skunk2 Cams, etc." Also, you say you have a comptech header and intake. Do you realize that those 2 parts you CANNOT use with a turbo setup. The header and intake go my friend....those parts need to be sold. Also, your stock GSR cams would be better for turbo, just keep them and save the hassle. Also, I suggest searching like crazy through forced induction, you will find a ton of imformation. Talk to the members that are famaliar with Turbo and the ones that will help. I know I got lucky and found a few on board that were just awesome, they helped me pave the way and helped me with every step (on their own time). If you find the right people, ask the right questions and have respect from other board members then it should be fairly easy to figure this all out for yourself.

However, if you don't search, if you don't really know what your doing....then its going to be a long tough road. First figure out what you are getting yourself into, before you start dreaming big. I searched and studied for a good 6 months before I went turbo (I made sure it was something I wanted to do and was ready for...down time of not having a car, spending tons on parts, knowing that things can go wrong, realizing what kind of power I was going to have, etc).

Now onto the positives. Its going to be a blast if you decide to go turbo. You'll learn a ton of **** and have a good time along the road. Boost is addictive.....

what are your goals?

it's all about your horspower goals and tuning. then more tuning, and did i say tuning? cause u need that.

horsepower > 300whp = some internal work needed (in my view/experience)

want to see what happens when things go bad with a stock internal running high boost? ... of course you do.. thank me later

Most Integra owners go through this dilemma. I have over 10 friends that have Integra's and only one went Turbo. Reason is because you need a lot of money on the side if something goes wrong. My friends turbonetics turbo should be arriving to my house today as a matter of fact.

if your doing mod by mod every 2 months, just save your money, you won't be able to hang with sti or evo or srt-4 at the ned of a year. you're looking to spend $2000-4000 in mods, or get some nitrous!!!

No more than a turbo kit will. If you are on a budget, and you want to hang with the big boys, bottle feed your teggy.
