just got the clutch installed this morning, the feel and driving characteristics are pretty reasonable, better than i was expecting.

the only downer is the slight chatter on takeoff... i'm wondering if this characteristic will be slightly reduced once the clutch is bedded in properly. or, if people learn to drive around it.

other than that, great clutch

 

I can't recall how bad my the chatter was when we first installed my brother's clutch, but it definitely hasn't gone away. Just one of the characteristics of the clutch.

 

i dont know man, i guess its an exedy thing? my ACT clutch made no weird noises or anything...can u describe the chatter sound a lil more?

 

yeah what noise? im plan on getting an exedy organic race clutch in few weeks. dont want no chatters and stuff u know?

you should be fine... a full face clutch would jump all over the place like a 3-puck

i'm going to wait till the run in period is over, if it doesn't improve a bit i'll have to change it. it's harsh to the point of being bad for the tranny imo.
