I have an Action 6 puck 2MD...great power and engages very quickly (when you want it to). It kinda sucks for daily driving since 1st gear is the hardest to put it into. Don't slip them tooo much because your stock flywheel won't take the abuse. In first, I rev to 1,5-2 grand and engage for about a second or too before it drops to 1 k rpm...seems to best method after 6 months of driving. Find your own method but don't over rev the start to get a smooth engament, because it's not made to be a totally smooth engament. Just tell your friends...hey i have a lot of HP under the hood...deal with it

Exactly what I do...Glad to see someone else likes that method. Sometimes I can get mine to take off smoothly from 1200 rpms or so, but usually it's 1500ish and jerky. The wife DOES NOT try to drink anything when I take of now.

ha, that sounds about right.
About the flywheel wear issue...I pulled my HDR6 a couple days ago and it was in really good shape. On a factory flywheel it had a very mild wear after about 4500-5k. looked almost new actually. I slip it a lot so I was expecting much worse wear.

lol when i brought my 6puck, i thought engage will be smooth but with a stiffer pedal, i guess i was wrong, what full face clutch will yall recommend? I probably switch it out later down the road
If you want smooth, get kevlar, like an action 1 or 2ks. I have an action 1md (sprung 6 puck) and once you get used to driving it, it's fine. You just have to rev a little higher in 1st before engaging. About the only time it's not optimal is in bumper to bumper trafic.
I've heard from alot of customers that the clutch specialties clutches will chatter a bit if you "ride em", but after about 5k miles it breaks in and doesn't chatter anymore. Not sure what you're using or if it will help, that's just what they tell me.
