Default Signs of worn down clutch?

Lately sometimes when i get the car moving, the clutch makes this rubbing sound. The closest sound i can think of is the Chubaca off of starwars...that growlong sound he makes except its not loud like that at all and its a smoother higher pitched sound(its def made from the clutch rubbing).

Also, it seems like that the clutch pedal needs to be put out most of the way for the clutch to grab.

I am wondering if I should change my clutch or wait. i am wondering because i am moving in a little while and i dont want to have to try to do a clutch job somewhere else while I have a garage right now.

Yea, I am having the same problem. when I release my clutch to let it hit the sweet spot it makes squaking/whine'n noise. Especially when I put it in reverse and release the clutch slowly so the car can move. It squeak like hell. I am wondering if its the tranny or the clutch that is doing this. BUMP FOR HELP!

Another good way you can tell:

While cruising, lay your foot on the clutch.

If it starts to slip, with not much pedal travel, that is a way to tell if it is worn

Rough engagements, chattering, and alot of pedal travel needed to engage are also signs of a worn clutch

clutches don't come with an input shaft bearing, they come with a pilot bearing and a release bearing, so if your ISB is messed up then buying a new clutch will do nothing.

find out if your ISB is really the cause of your problems, if it is then a new one will have to be ordered from honda.

by driving your car. with the clutch pedal released (clutched fully engaged), start building up revs. generally, you will start to hear a whining noise coming from the tranny, if this noise goes away when you disengage the clutch (press pedal down) then its most likely your ISB.
