I heard that you sell a harness to hook up the Apexi V-AFC to the ECU without splicing the wires. Do you or do you know where I can find one? How much does it cost?
Thanks! Corey
P.S. If there is anyone else that knows let me know. I'm sure I am not the only one that would like to have one.

Be honest....am I wasting my $ buying this thing? Is there anything I can actually improve with mods that I have? Now after ordering it and getting on Apexi website and reading all the things it does, it seems I would need a heavily modded car. Is that true?
If so, anyone want to buy a V-AFC?

Corey,
The VAFC is a nice fine tuning tool. It allows you to adjust the air/fuel ratio throughout the RPM range it also gives the ability to move the VTEC switchover point.
Jack (B18CXR) posted a real nice dyno graph of a before and after tuning with a VAFC. Jack, if you read this please post that graph in this thread. Thanks.
My harness allows you to hook up the VAFC without cutting or splicing any wires. This allows for easy removal when taking your Honda/Acura in for service. The dealership will never know it was there and you won't void your warranty.
Hope this helps.

**ATTENTION** - My home PC has been hit with a virus. I can not receive email at this time. Also, I can not access some home addresses of customers who need to have harnesses shipped to them. If you are one of my customers and are waiting on an ECU conversion harness please PM me on H-Tech so we can set up some form of communication. Or, if you know of somebody who is waiting on a harness please tell them of my situation and have them contact me. Thank you. **

keep in mind that with the VAFC, u might only gain 0.1whp at peak..but the point of fine tuning a/f ratios may give u a 5-10whp gain at the VTEC cross-over when power usually dipps. It also may give u that 5whp throughout the range by smoothing out ur curve..instead of producing 150whp at 6500 and 146whp at 6750 and 152whp at 7000rpm, u might produce 150whp-151whp-152whp...tuning gives u the ability to smoothe out ur curve instead of having those large up and downs
A friend had his VAFC stolen recently...here is the link and pictures, as he is selling the wiring harness.

I don't see how you can find one that is removable while you take it in service. you are splitting the air fuel line and if you remove the afc wouldnt' no af information will be sent to the ecu or engine? I dont' know which way it works.
