nah, I do not use the AF guage at the dyno.

 

How did you tune it effectively then?

 

I think he meant to say he doesn't use the o2 sensor at the dyno... Costs extra $.

He has a very nice custom a/f and egt which he uses. Very accurate tunes from jack, no question.

Remember: he is an EE.

I am totally on the other end of it. You will be surprise how lean my car run with bolt ons and TODA specB when using Yoshio ECU. I don't have a chance to dyno it, or see the A/F with a wide band O2 sensor. But according to my Greedy A/F, I have to add like 8% to 14% of fuel across the RPM, and me and my other 3 friends' *** dyno feel the car definitely pull harder after I add more fuel and the hesitation between 4-6000rpm is gone now.

 

WOOOOOooo now. B's will make a C5 run leaner than a Yugo with a 200shot of NOS.

I've got chit loads of "+'s" on my fuel maps for the B's.

I'm talking about stock cams.

 

I know you are talking about stock cams here, but I just want to share my experience.

Also, I think how lean my car is running before VAFC tuning is largely depended on the fuel maps Yoshio set on his ECU. I am just surprise that his ECU would be running this lean, because I thought he would set it on the safe side more.
