really high idle

I need help. my civic is idling at 4 grand when its cold and then down too 2 grand when warm. what the hell could be causing this. the ecu isnt spitting anything out. I have a b16a in it.
Any ideas?

One of the problems of EFI its the adjust of idle speed, this because the ECU tends to compesate every manual adjustment we do, overiding them.
The solution is simple, you adjust the idle speed (with a warm engine) following the manufacturer instructions (usually a screw situated in the intake manifold, with the automatic air control unplugged), once you have the specified idle speed, you plug again the air control and unplug the battery for 5 minutes (this resets the ECU memory). Then you plug the battery again and start the engine, letting it idle for like 5 or 10 mintues, without touching the accelerator. This way, the ECU finds the optimum mix for the car and keeps it.
