Default Ok, which Integra model.

So I've decided to get an Integra for my first car. I am going to have lots of extra $$ so I want to install a ton of aftermarket products in it.

MY question is, which model of the Integra is best? I will prolly get a '94-'96. Is it the GS-R or GS or LS? Is there differnt engine specs among these?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to honda-tech. To avoid making a lot of enemies around here you need to use the search option for all your questions (its in the upper right corner) and any questions you cant find on there then post em. Follow that and you should do fine here.

Now the difference in the models in the engines. The LS, RS, GS all have a B18B in them. It is non vtec and has a lower compression. The GS-R has a B18C1 with vtec and a higher compression. Anyone else feel free to correct me on anything i missed.

if ur gonna have a lot of money left over, why not get an RS, the lightest model due to not having any power options, and drop a b18c1 in it?

IS 100 pds in weight really worth not having luxuries?

i would say no. find yourself a good condition, low mileage GSR anywhere from 94-01. you wont be disappointed.

Ok, so I will go with the GSR. Is there a reliable spot online to search for this car used?

Where I live nobody drives any fricken imports. So I have a hard time finding any Integra's. They're all those jerkoff mustang drivers around here.

Ultilmately I want pull up to a stop light and whup those guys. :D

Hey guys, thanks a million. I wont be settling in on one for a couple of months.

But if I think I found a sweet deal I'll come here and ask...
One more question. What's the best area to start working on? Exhaust? Engine? Handling? THNX!

Do all of the required maintenance on the car, like the timing belt, water pump, drive belts, spark plugs, fluid changes etc... before spending money on modifications. Also your car will attract more attention from thieves and the law if it has an exhaust and stuff like that.

get a 95 gsr start with intake then exhaust then headers. Handling wont really matter until u have nothing else to do with the car honestly. Or you can start with suspension and then do the intake exhaust headers.

start small... the biggest thing to remember is to keep it clean looking. start simple with some nice looking wheels and lower it. then intake, header, exhaust. just read through HT alot and you will get a good idea as to how to modify it. Look thorugh the appearence/cosmetic forum and just look at all the cars. this site is a great tool... use it.
