Default Integra Low Down

Hey everyone, I currently have a 2000 accord 4cyl sedan, and i have been thinking about selling it and picking up an integra, I really want a car that I can unpgrade and not worry about all the extra unneeded family car weight which I dont need, can anyone give me some information on the integra, such as engines and trannies that they come with and can swap in, performace and just everyones overall opinions on there cars, it would really help... thanks alot

You can do tons of swaps, trans, etc.

as far as stock motors here in the US.. there is the B18C5(Type R, 195hp), B18C1(GS-R 170hp), and the B18B(GS, LS, RS, SE, 140hp) The first two are DOHC VTEC, the last is DOHC non-vtec

I have a GS-R and I love it, it comes stock with some power. If you plan on doing much work, pick up a non-vtec version and go LS/VTEC or turbo.

search, so much info can be found.

i would rather keep the accord sedan.

i like how they come fully loaded , leather, etc.

to me its nice.

btw i have a db8 integra, so maybe that explains it.

or am i getting old?

I'd rather have a new accord V6 than my GS-R... other than that.. i'll take my teg

hondaaccord, how big are you? if you are tall, an integra might not be a wise choice...

im only 5'7 5'8 so hight wont be a problem, I've driven a 94' prelude and I fit in it perfectly if the interiors are similar at all

I think the integra is a big smaller, but you are't tall so it's no deal. I'm 6' and I fit.

Any other specific questions you have? I'll help you to the best of my ability

what are the sets of body styles (generations)
Idk how to explain it but in accords it like 1995-1997 is fifth generation, 1998-2002 is sixth generation, 2003 and up is 7th generation

I know sometime around 94 I think they had the style with the big head lights
Then they had the style with the four circular head lights

I hope you understand what im asking, sorry for the confusion

if your talking about the integra's

the 94 - 97 style came out with the circle headlights.

then in 98-01 a newer style with updated bumpers, lights, came out. diffrent style headlights.

however 94-01 are all the same, body types, etc.
alot of people convert their 94-97 to the newer bumpers and lights.

http://www.92lude.com (prelude site)

DC is the comon reference to the body code for a 94-01 integra (3rd gen). why is everyone forgetting the DA? 90-93 integras are great cars, i'd recommend one . DA's come with b18a's and b17a's in the US. as far as swaps go, b-series will bolt in, there are mounts for h-series, mounts for k-series into 94-01, in other countries some integra's have d-series so i guess you could put one of those in.

not ture. I am 6'7" and I drive a g1...probably the smallest of all tegs. I had the car for 4 years, and I make 6-8hr trips in her somewhat often, and I'm fine.

because it's cheaper to buy an LS and work from there, he could also buy an LS and turbo it for the same price a GS-R would be... stuff like that...
