Default LS turbo feeling sluggish with bigger turbo???

Ok, I recently upgraded my turbo from a t3/t4b (a/r .48) to a t3/t4e (a/r .63). I know my car needs tuning but I just wanted to see if I could feel the difference. I haven't actually boost past 2nd gear bc of the lack of tunning but I was able to hit .53 bar before shutting down. The strangle part was even if my boost controller says .53bar I felt like I wasn't going anywhere. When I had my t3/t4b I hit less than .50 bar and I still felt the kick. Now, I feel like I wasnt even moving. I don't believe I have any boost leaks (cant hear any) so what can be wrong? Anyway info would help, thanks.

Changing from a .48 to a .63 definately affects your spool time on the car. Sometimes bigger isn't always better. The .63 should definately be better up top though... .48's can run out of gas in the higher rpm's.

You do know that reguardless of what gear you are in not tuned it is just as bad, right? Oh, and I don't know the answer to your question.
