Help...white smoke?...turbo civic
Ok guys, heres the story. I just installed a turbo in my b16 hatch for about a week. Ran it with a p28 chipped. The car runs good and all. I witch back to the stock non chip p28. Coming home from work, i took the car to 7 rpm. Next thing I knew, the car was shootin out white smoke, car just shuts off, car dont start no more. Pull over and to see, the radiator fluild was out. Could it be th blown head gasket? Th car cranks over but wont start. What do you guys think?

Re: Help...white smoke?...turbo civic (ben95ex)
i was thinking about the head to. Hopefully its not. Im going to rip out the head tomarrow and sent it to the machine shop for check up. How about the bottom end? I tried starting it again doesnt start but it cracks over. I might be the spark plugs are wet. will see....keep the feed backs coming..

Yes, that is the purpose of a compression test. Although you could have perfect compression and still have blown a head gasket.
