does anyone know pricing on putting power steering on the cx. ugh im doubting i'd get it but i wanna know how muhc is cost. i heard there's less speed wobble with no power steering which is good :D
it honestly isn't a big deal....I can hardly tell the difference between my EX and my CX...my DX is hard as hell to turn though..probably because of the wider tires though
I'm sure you could find a good but used power steering unit from people who remove them for performance for a cheap price. Most performance minded people take those off because of the extra strain it puts on the engine.
well if you are going to add ps to it then get an itr rack(best ratio) and ad the pump and hook up the proper lines and wallah.I am sure you could find everything fairly cheap except maybe the itr rack.
im not to sure that the teg rack works in the civics, unless i was miss informed becuase come magazine tried to stick the teg rack in a civic and it didnt fit if anyhting just take the gears out of the teg rack and slap them into the civic rack
another reason people get rid of P/S on their EG's is that the steering is so incredibly LIGHT in stock form. so if you swap the engine (and forget about boost or juice) the engine starts torquing your car around. my swap guy says that when i swap my engine he wont let me drive with P/S cuz he's seen 2 guys get into accidents with it. so it's also a safety issue in addition to the feel issue.
i'm prolly gonna remove my P/S this winter so I can start getting used to the feel.

Forget putting power stering on the car..buy some weights..make some muscle if its a big deal. The car weighs freakin 2100 pounds...its not like you are driving a mack truck. Its not difficult at all for a average sized person to drive.
