Default new Rotors?

Hey guys i just installed new raybestos sts rotors and pads on the fornt for my gsr cause i got the stuff for free. After a quick drive i saw smoke from them is that usual or did i do something worng please help thanks! o yeah they are cross drilled and slotted rotors.

autozones for me were only like 13 dollars each.. along with a lifetime warranty they are the best bang for dollar

that's normal, your just burning off the coating they put on the rotors to prevent rust.

you are suppose to wipe the rotors off when u put them on...like with brake clean or sumthin u got....did u do that...if not they are all oily and that could cause it but it isnt really a major concern...are the auto zone ones worth it like are they good?

I just use brembo blanks and call it a day, but your brakes should be fine. if they still do it, clean them with some brake cleaner then see what happens
