Default Compression test B16A, should I worry?

Should I be concerned with the compression on cyl #2?

Cyl-1 187
Cyl-2 174
Cyl-3 187
Cyl-4 190

I've read that the difference can be up to 20% and the engine still considered "healthy". So is this or ...

Ive read that 2nd gen b16 should be around 205psi. But your numbers are consistent, dont worry about cylinder 2, 20psi give or take is still in spec range

alot of times the different gauges will read differently, and even the seal created will be different for each cyl you test. I would say you are ok, but i will say my b16 whenever i pulled it out at 70,000 miles read 200 205 205 205

i would say they are a tiny bit low, but that comes along with wear. and they aren't that far apart from the other numbers. Could have been how you tested to, did you have it WOT was the engine hot, less cranks on the cylinder that was low... mine has 230 across the board with like 50k miles

anything above 200psi is a bull your compression ratio is not as high with the stock engine...

looks borderline....
if any of those numbers drop below the 160 range later on, you should be concerned -- new ring time.

thanks for the responses. yes, tested at WOT. i will be doing a valve adjustment over the weekend so we'll see if perhaps the numbers increase at all.
