Default Noob Here!!!1 Quick Question...

I have a 95 civic ex coupe (d16z6) w\ i/h/e/

My clutch slips at 3-4 rpms, thereofre im getting a new one asap.

Heres my question:With my simple setrup (i/h/e) im just gonna get a stock clutch , i dont need a hardcore stage 3 etc.. clutch..also , i know jack crap about clutches, so do i just need a new clutch and problem solved , or do i also have to get a new flywheel also...

how can i tell if i need a new flywheel???

agreed, unless your gonna be doing any sort of swap, then I'd wait but if not... Upgrade... My personal philosphy that I've had on my car is if it needs to be replaced then upgrade

yea its my daily dirver and i dont wanna do anything else with the engine until i get my b18c1 swap, but that wont be for a looooooooong time until ii pay off some debts that i have, lol.

Thats why just wanna spend the least here , im hoping all i need is the clutch and not the flywheel....but how do i fiind it out.

you could still get a better clutch that pretty much feels stock and i'm sure it wouldn't cost much more than a stock clutch. Also why not research on turboing your motor before doing a b18c swap?

turbo is cool, but i decided im gonna get a c1 sometime at the end of the year and keep it stock and have fun with it for like 2-3 years (By that time ill be finshing college). Then get an s2k or something. For now i wanna just get a clutch so i can at least go over 70 on the freeway without my clutch slipping, lol .

you dont need a new flywheel to replace the clutch unless its fucked up but i suggest you atleast ressurface it when its out just so you get a better surface to clamp the clutch down on.
