new flywheel and clutch question

i have a brand new exedy stage 2 clutch and brand new fidanza 8lb. flywheel, do i need to surface the flywheel?

Not unless the surface was damaged during shipping. Might not be a bad idea to have it spun to make sure the balance is true, though.
