I am putting in a 99 or 00 GSR in my car this upcoming month and need to order the mounts from the 99-00 Si but need to know the NAMES of them. I have searched but am just not clear on the names, I just want to make sure I get the right ones. I plan on using the fiche on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com to order them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Is it just the 99-00 SI rear mount that I need to be able to do this or is there a mount on the driver side that I need as well. Also, does anyone know if there has been a write up of this swap. I can find little bits and pieces by searching but not a complete writeup.

 

Looks like a/c compressor bracket, rear engine mounting bracket (looks like a T), and the front tranny bracket.

This is just by myself comparing the 2 pictures and going off that. Do a search if you want a 100% positive answer.

 

first off, what car is this going into??

i'm assuming it's an ek, and if so, i've been curious about this myself, as i'm doing the same swap. i've heard many different things about which parts from the 99-00 si are needed.


i believe we need #7 for the rear mount. is this correct? what part do we need for the drivers side?

 

Yes it is going into a 99 EK EX. Sorry I forgot to include that in my original post.

I have that setup in my car right now, you'll need #1, 7, 10 and e-14-1 for it to work in an ek. Thats all buddy, oh and the wire harness from a 99 si because the ex wont plug up to the dizzy and the crank angle sensor plug.

99-00 Si Rear Tranny Mount bracket: 50827-s04-n10
99-00 Si Driver Side mount bracket: 11910-p30-000

 

OT:

in that pix. part# 8 & 9 mounts for the DC

are they the same as the EG mounts?

 

e-14-1, is that the timing belt mount?

for a/c i believe u need the delsol/vtec bracket
