Default Anyone using a Ultra MDI?

I would like to know how the ignition is triggered and programmed. Does it have a knock retard and boost retard? Does it need any additional sensors?

And my last question: Where to buy?

the distributorless kit? umm its pretty much JDM bling. the stock ignition system is proven to work on powerful cars. even Ericks Racing's record breaking civic uses a stock ignition system.

Yes, the distributorless kit.

This is the only "info" i have found about it yet:

But the feedback sounds promising. It is plug&play and uses the OEM harness and sensors.

I don't like the other systems that comes with their own harness and sensors. Also kits like the HPX doesn't retain power steering

there is no programming.
Its just a conversion to 2 coil vs 1 coil.
I will be doing testing on this soon

Is something like this even worth it? The stock ignition seems more than adequate..

How is the ignition triggered? From the ECU?

if you do a search there is a detailed explanation on why this isn't worth it unless your just into it for the bling..

Sorry, but i don't understand this. You mean that it retains the stock sensors from the distributor and with this sensors the ECU tells the M.D.I. when to fire?

Last try, $500 for a used Ultra MDI in good condition or $700 for a new one. Who wants to sell?
