Default OIL PROBLEM ON 99 CIVIC SI TURBO....

No idea what is goin on...did a compression test...1st and 4th cylinder are both about 210, while 2nd and 3rd were about 180. I checked my oil before my drive today and it was a lil above the fill line (after an oil change). Drive for about 30 min (25 miles), get home, check the oil. The tip of the dipstick had a tiny amount on it. Like maybe 1 mm. How the hell is it possible that i burned that much oil in 30 minutes of driving? There's no leaks underneath the car, or anywhere else that i could see. There's only smoke out of the exhaust if i shift after 6k, which i did none of on the way home. From the compression test, i assume my piston rings are bad. But would that make me lose over a qt of oil in just 30 min of driving? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

did you check the oil right after driving or did you wait for it to cool?

you have to wait till all the oil is back down into the pan to get an accurate reading.

if this was done?
not sure where a whole quart is going? especailly since its not smoke all the time?

Guys if you are losing oil like that it is either coming out in smoke or in the coolant system. It has to go somewhere. No visible leaks? Are you checking the oil with the car on level ground each time?
