Default Quick tire size question for the best traction.

This relates back to newgsrdriver thread which can be seen here. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=767930

I am about to purchase the BFG DR in 225/50/15 and they will be mounted on a 15x7 rim with a +43 offset. My question is will these stick out to far from the fenders?

Also will running 225/50/15 up front and 205/50/15 in the back make the car handle wierd on the street. I will be mounting these on my rims that I drive on daily so I can not have a car that only goes in a straight line well.

Thanks for your input.

thats the same tire and wheel offset i run. I have a 2.25'' drop and had to roll the fender to keep them from rubbing. If this is for a street set-up you will rub in the corners unless you have more of a gap then I do. Mine sits flush with the fender. maybe go with a little more offset if you plan to drive daily.

How far do yours stick out? Do you have any pics? I am worried more about them stick out to far and getting pulled over or it just looking out of place. I have coil overs so I could raise the car if need be.

I can get pics for you. They don't stick out at all they are flush with the fender. You will be fine unless you have a camber kit.

They you will probably run into problems. The only reason why I can run this set-up is because I don't have a camber kit so my wheels tilt in just enough at the top to clear the fender.
I had to roll the lip on the fender to get the tires to clear.
I have the neuspeed race springs which lower my car about 2.25'' closer to 2.5'' in the front. I supose if you raised you car up a little you may be able to clear the fender. Tell you what, I'll borrow a digital camera tomorrow and snap a few pics of my car from the side and an angle to so you can see how much room I have.
I'm runing 15x6.5'' rims with the 225/50/15 bfg dr.
