Default My turbo hatch runs like ****. help

ok heres the problem:

I cracked a ring land in #1 cyl a month ago. I ran it for a week with cyl 1 down and smokeing like crazy. Tore the motor apart put in new piston and rod (used but in good shape.) in #1 also put in rods, mains, and new rings. i put everything together and start it. everything seems ok but then the car starts to smoke. out of the exhaust out of the radiaiator cap but still idles ok and revs up ok. (later i fond out its normal for the car to enitialy smoke like that on startup) well i pull it out of the garage.

then it the next day i go to drive it the idle is slightly rough but when i rev it up at part throttle but if i give it full throttle it will stall.

i did a compression test and i was 160 across the board but cyl 3 was 145 but i dont think its that bad

the plugs were black.

i have a 14b turbo and afc hack. i didnt touch the ignition timeing.

what should i do?

did you hone the cylinders when u put new rings in, because the rings or pistons arnt sealing. maybe you blew all ringlands.

wait....
you only checked the #1 cylinder for busted ringlands and it was busted...so u just replaced that one and didnt check the others???????

odds are if your broke one you broke at least one other, compression tests will not always be affected by busted ringlands

145 is low. sometimes its hard to see if a ringland is cracked. either way that ring didnt seat of something. how many miles have you put on???

0 miles thats why the low compression dosnt pose a problem because the ring's havnt seated yet. i still have no idea whats wrong im leaning tward a electrical problem at this point. i havnt worked on it in over a week. its prob just something dumb like always.
