Default Lots of smoke!!

OK, so I've been searching the $#!+ out of this topic and every thread says the same thing, and its not helping alot. I recently put a td05h turbo on my 89 crx with a built ls and it ran ok for about a day then slowly started smoking more and more(white smoke) now it just pours out like crazy. I rebuilt the turbo, replaced the hg and piston rings and it still smokes. The local guy, that everyone goes to, says its the tune. Could it be smoking like that from too rich or lean(if its too rich wouldn't it be black??)? I was thinking mabey valve guides, but supposedly the motor had under 50k on the rebuild, or the turbo is cracked somewhere internally? Im sick of dealing with it i want my car back. Any thoughts/suggestions would me much appreciated.

first off run it without the turbo, if it still smokes check your valve stem seals, then replace your pistons rings.

does it still have the same compression across the cylinders?

yeah...its been a while since ive worked on it cuse of winter. I cant remember the numbers exactly but they were all within 5psi of eachother.

I wanted to do a leakdown test. I went to orileys and advanced auto to see if they had any, Advanced didn't know what it was and once i explained it said they didnt, at Orileys me and another customer were trying to explain it. Once the guy understood he handed me a compression tester haha.

Can it be that maybe the head surface or the block surface is warped. Maybe it is allowing water to leak into the combustion chamber, but not into the oil path.
If that is possible, then with the engine running and smoking, then you should be able to see bubbles of air while inspecting the water in the radaitor.

I've had somethign similar happen - not sure if I had oil in the coolant, but there was a definite leak path from cylinder to water.
With the radiator cap off I could rev the engine and water would shoot out like a gyser.

I've been having the same problem. I found that when I removed my downpipe, the turbo was leaking into the downpipe. after a HG change, head resurfaced and pressure checked, O-rings replaced, and now I'm pissed because I paid a company to rebuild it for me 2 weeks ago, and now it smokes and leaks like crazy. pretty pissed considering I was supposed to get it tuned today.

I checked the head and block they aren't warped.

Im gonna try putting in a restrictor in the oil line, hopefully thats it....
