Default difference between obd 0 and obd 1?

just wanted to know, heard that obd1 is gooder but dont know how, so care to explain for me guys.. thanks

I belive if it is a 96 motor then you are obd II, odb refers to the On Board Diagnostics and number refers to the level.

People say that obd1 is gooder than obd2. You can search and find all this info, but basically if you are planning to add a lot of different mods to your car the obd2 can get in the way of stuff. Also the obd2 checks a bunch of the emissions related crap, if they mess up your check engine light will come on and then it won't pass the smog.

obd o is green plug used till 91 .. obd 1 is gray plug.. u can chip both kinds of ecu's.. used till 95 .. obd 2 is gray plug but can not be chipped..

It probably won't make any difference to you which one is gooder but most people prefer obd1.

i know that obd1 is more perfered ... but does anyone know the perfermence difference?
