well, first and foremost I would like to say: **** its FAST!
having to shift four gears just to go down your street quietly is something different
. The reason the swap took so long was because the importer who sent us the motor was a total bitch. the engine harness was bad, some sensors on the motor were bad, and when eric FINALLY got around all the codes, and electrical problems (i'll have eric list the problems for you later), we went to go get the b-pipe welded to the cat, and for some reason the car was over heating. so we pull over and we think that the belt for the water pump is slipping, so eric tightens that, and we're off again. same problems not 10 minutes later. turns out lower thermostat hose is dead cold, eric pulls off the hose at a gas station ( thank god he brought tools) and says **** THAT WATERS COLD not a good sign. he yanks the thermo out and gives it a good 50 yard pass across a parking lot.
so NOW we're chilling.( or so we think)
the ******* importer sent me a BASE RSX ECU instead of the type-r. so the car runs like **** and bogs every gear. but it pulls hard still. im going up to riverside to get eric's ECU and then ill give you the impressions of the motor un-tuned. its going to be tuned at import-tek THIS TUESDAY im not positive its import-tek, but as soon as eric gets on i'll confirm.
CLIFF NOTES: read you lazy bastard, its a k20eg.

Makes me happy I've got a complete Type-S in my garage that I could drive down the street =p (sans hood and windshield, of course).
Let us know how that all turns out.

Sucks when you do a swap and have issues, but hopefully you will be able to work them out, good luck man!

Tuesday... @ Hookups Import Tek. This is the when thes vids will be up....and pics and dyno sheets. All in all car is tight...aside from the Ecu issue. Yes it will haul ***...
LOL@ 50 yard pass....that was my last straw...from a bad spot in the engine wiring harness....to stuck fuel injector....then a bad ect sensor causing all kinda probs. However on a good note....no check engine light..
