I have a similar problem with low idle and i think we're having the same issue here. I don't think putting on the intake or exhaust is doing it, i've had both on over 100k and this is a new problem say 2-3 months ago.

Its more than likely a TPS problem, on the back side of your intake manifold there is a plug (TPS plug), make sure that is together firmly and you wont have nemore idling problamos

Are you sure that it's Idling at 100rpms? b/c the very first line on the tach is 0rpms then the thinner line between 0 and 1000rpms is 500rpms. If you're mistaken and its idling around 500rpms, its not that bad....try reseting the ecu and see if that helps.

Just disconnect the battery for about 10min. then reconnect it and start the car and let it idle til its at normal operating temp.

Yea i tried that and it works for a couple of days and then it goes back to what it is doing.but at night when the air is cooler it will idle around 800 to 900 where it is normal.but it is at the thin line right above the 0 RPM.

If there were any check engine lights showing up on these cars, don't you think they'd investigate that before posting up about their problem. Atleast lets hope so..

Wouldn't this cause a CEL? Not everybody investigates before they post. So who has a CEL and who doesn't?

Civic4Doors: Did you just put an air intake and exhaust on or did you put on an entire I/M and exhaust manifold/header. Is your vaccumm line hooked up properly. More detail please.

Yea there is no CEL's showing up at all,and i just put the intake pipe, not the manifold sorry for not putting that, but i will check the TPS tomorrow and try the zip tie and see if that helps. But why would it idle right during a cooler night, and during the day it is way low?
