Default How to adjust timing on milled head?

When a head is milled how do you adjust/check your timing? Do you set your base timing a couple degrees retarded, or advanced?

milling the head retards the cam timing... it's about 1 degree every .015 taken off the head

It alters both intake and exhaust cam timing.

thats a good approximation. Varies slightly from setup to setup and belts, etc...but it's a good guide

I was spacing earlier...it's about 1 degree every .015 taken off
