Default laggy at full throttle

I have a 5th gen prelude with a h22 and a revhard turbo kit. whenever i step on teh gas full throttle, the car lags like it goes nowhere, but when i step on teh gas like half way it boosts and takes off. Any idea why my car does this? any help would be appreciated.

did you tighten up your throttle cable? that might help.

sounds like turbo lag,
what happens if you're already spooling, say 4500 rpm
and then you punch it

Sounds a little like turbo lag, but on hondas the turbos usaully aren't big enough to create a noticable amount of lag. Don't really know how severe it is, but sounds like a vacum or a fuel issue. I would concider some dyno time and a glance over the engine bay.

it sounds like you not getting enough fuel, the car is running lean...which is not good for turbo and can cause detonation.
