Default Choppy Turbo Sound

I have my turbo b18b1 eg and I'm having a little problem, i want to say it's a boost leak causing my turbo to sound choppy. But I have checked every cupplink and place air could be released and they're all tight, I'm very confused can someone help me out?

First, this is the wrong section for this thread. Second, when exactly does it "sound choppy"? When you shift? When it's spooling? Part throttle? Full Throttle? What.... need WAY more details to be able to help you.
