Default throwing code 4 @ work need to get home

this sucks car was working perfect this morning, and i went to lunch and the damn thing just falls on its face, i checked codes and it s a code 4 crk angle sensor
how could it just go bad?
88 CRX si w/DOHC ZC
it running kinda, but doesn't rev past 3k, and misses bad.. would it be ok to drive it 20 miles home?, or should i just tow it?.. i'd rather drive it just go 40 the whole way.. what would you do?

so i get off at 1am like usually, knowing full well the car proably wont run right.. get in say hrmm well i'll reset the ECU and try it.. so i reset it, and start her up, no check engine light?.. hrmm other then the usual 17 which comes on cuz my Speedo sensor is fryed..
so i go home, get on it a few times to check.. and it fine, wierd
then i notice something, when i pushed the brakes, my headlights got real dim?.. ok so i figured hrmm maybe my battery fuse blew again (i have the battery in the rear, and my 80AMP fuse has a loose connection and sometimes doesn't work right).. so i pull into a gas station turn the car off, and start it back up fine?.. hrmm ok wasn't that, check all the grounds, and power connections all look good?.. so i'm like **** it, just wanna get home.. so i get home.. and i usually turn off my radio in my driveway as to not wake anyone up from the thump.. and so i do, then i notice my headlights got bright again?.. ok..
park the car in the garage, and start it back up for kicks.. something tells me try the radio, so i go to turn it back on, and nothing??.. anyways, i know whats wrong, first the code 4, and then the headlights, now the radio?.. i dun no.. research will be done tomorrow.. its payday again
i'll post the findings

My first guess would be your alternator....
I had the exact same problem on my rodeo....
or maybe you have an exposed wire somewhere maybe behind the dash....

well cause still unknown, i redid the wireing on the stereo since the pervious owner hacked the connector off.. so i soldered another on there and put a harrness on, but the car drove fine when i took it to the shop about 2 miles down, and is still running ok, no symptoms of a code 4??? so i dun no, i guess next week i'll proceed with my apex turbo install..
