Will i get more Hp if...
all i know is that it is SOHC Non-Vtec, 16 valve.. i belive it came off a civic dx but someone told me it was a si motor. I was in doubt but i understand why now..
its D15B somethin, it has like 102hp or something.. if i use the head off that motor onto my d15b6 block will it improve it more or be a waste of time?

I think you mean onto your d16a6 block....
and it could be a d16a6 or d16y8 that you have... if it is off an si...
what code is on the engine that the head was on??
edit: wait its not a z6 or y8... you said its a non vtec.. my bad

d15b6 is the Hf (8 valve)motor...right???
do the pistons have valve reliefs for 4 valves/cyl or 2 valves/cyl???
click search to answer this questions because i cant remember...
if possible...i doubt you will see much of an improvement if you use the stock Hf intake manifold. and if you dont use that manifold you will throw a CEL for the EGR. then you will need to swap the ecu for a PM6. then you will have a bottom end designed for 70hp that doesnt turn over 5200rpm that has a who knows what CR...blah blah blah.
the d16y7 head will give you higher compression ratio...but i dont know if it is entirely as good as a d16a6/b2/b7 head casting.
find yourself an entire d16a6 swap for a few hundred bucks and have a quick reliable lightweight car!
