Default Clutch Install problem...

my boys just installed a clutchmaster stg 3 in his gsr...he just finished bleeding it and he called me and told me that he can't get into gear...he said when the car is off...he can get in and out of gear just fine...but when the car is on...he cant do anything...wha could be the cause of this?

did he install a new throw out bearing, also may have a bad slave cylinder

yup brand new throw out bearin straight from honda...thats whats im guessin...either the clutch cylinder...or maybe disk on backwards? any possitive way to check?

check ur disk and how its lined up. did you use a clutch allignment tool..

the best way to install a clutch is to attach it to your front wheel and if that doesn't work tie it to your brake lines , GOOD luck with that you retard

yea they used an alignment tool...any perticular reason y it would go into gear when the car is off but wont when the car is on?

why were they bleeding it? You don't have to open the clutch hydraulic system when you pull the tranny off and change out the clutch.

they thought that could have ben one of the problems...so they bleed it...
