syncros for the first part.
2nd part is not known to me at this time....what happens when your going 25 mph, you put the car in 5th gear and floor it?

noit to be a dick but make your thread title more specific. good luck and open up your tranny asap.
2. PLEASE MAKE THE TITLE TO YOUR TOPICS VERY CLEAR AND TO THE POINT.
Titles with just "Question here..." or "who knows..." or "HELP NEEDED!!! probably won't garner enough interst from the people who might actually be best to answer your question. I see these type of threads sink rapidly and then the thread starter rips on H-T for sucking because nobody answered their question. TOPICS WITH VAGUE TITLES WILL EITHER BE EDITIED BY ME OR SIMPLY DELETED.
it would just make the search function actually better.

Well, as far as the grinding when you try to put it in gear its most likely the syncros. My 3rd gear grinds pretty bad, the higher the rpms the worse right?

Well the clutch problem could be related to your grinding problem. If the clutch isn't unengaging(probably not a word but i can't think right now) then of course the gears will grind. And listen to Xerox, his clutch was doing the same thing a few weeks ago.

You either follow the rules, or I lock/delete your topics.
Simple as that.
You're being extremely selfish when you try to find help without putting the subject matter in your title, because if you get help nobody else with the same problem will ever get help.
Also if you had done a simple search under "tranny grinds" or "tranny grinding" you'd have probably found plenty of info, but instead you bascially started yet another tranny grinding topic.
BTW:
I found at least 7 other topics that describe exactly what you're talking about by using the key words "tranny grind" under archived topics in all forums.
In short you need to rebuild your tranny and replace the worn synchros that are causing your grinds.
