cam removal and installation?
how difficult is this. i have some decent mechnical aptitude. what would you guys say? i already replaced my own timing belt that was apain in the *****. is that the most difficult part? i know about the tdc thing and i have a haynes manual. so on a scale of 1-10 (1 easy 10 pretty complicated) how does it rate?
you will be able to do it. it's easier than tbelt change imo. just follow torque specs and bolt patterns. hardest part is getting the cambolts off the camgears
Id give it a 5 if you are not doing the valvesprings, 8 if you are.
Make sure you have a trusty torque wrench and some hondabond HT. Oh, and loosen the camgear bolts before you take apart the cam caps and stuff. Haynes will only help so much, but there is a good walkthrough at c-speedracing.com
You dont have to take the lower timing cover off or adjust the tensioner, so that will save you some time.

you will need a torque wrench and standard tools, and anything else listed at http://www.c-speedracing.com

so to do it on a b18b is pretty much the same for a c1? except for the cam plate removal? cause in my book it says take off the distributor, and on c-speedracing.com it doesnt say i have to
